Crate rental agreement

This is the agreement you accept at checkout. Fee amounts below are the ones in force for Phoenix Metro, and a copy of the schedule is stored with your order so a later price change can never apply to a rental you already booked.

1. What you're renting

BoxDrop AZ rents reusable plastic moving crates, rolling dollies, and reusable labels. The equipment remains our property at all times. You are renting the use of it for the period below, not buying it.

2. Rental period

The standard rental period is 7 days, starting on your scheduled delivery date and ending on your scheduled pickup date. Additional weeks are available at the extra-week rate for your bundle, shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

You may extend at any time before pickup from your account dashboard. Extending charges the payment method on file and moves your pickup date forward automatically.

3. Delivery and pickup

• Delivery and pickup happen inside the two hour window you select at checkout.
• Someone must be present at delivery to receive the equipment and direct placement.
• You do not need to be present at pickup. Leave the equipment stacked and accessible at the address on the order.
• If nothing is available to collect at the scheduled pickup, a missed pickup fee of $25 applies and we reschedule.

4. Payment method on file

You authorize BoxDrop AZ to keep your payment method on file and to charge it, without further authorization, for:

• rental extensions you request;
• replacement and cleaning fees under section 5;
• missed pickup fees under section 3.

Every fee under section 5 is reviewed by a member of our team before it is charged, and you receive an itemized email at the time of any charge.

5. Damage, loss, and cleaning

Normal wear from a move is expected and never charged. The following fees apply only to equipment that does not come back, or comes back unusable:

If you believe a fee was applied in error, reply to the charge email within 14 days and we will review it with the driver's report and photographs.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not exceed 50 lbs per crate.
• Do not transport hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or perishable materials in the crates.
• Do not modify, drill, paint, or apply adhesive labels to any equipment. Reusable labels are provided.
• Do not sublet, sell, or move the equipment outside Arizona.

7. Changes and cancellations

Change your dates or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your delivery window. Inside that window the route is already planned, so a cancellation is refunded in full less a $25 scheduling fee.

8. Gifted rentals

When a real estate agent gifts a rental, the gift is applied as a credit against your order total. Credit has no cash value, cannot be refunded to you, and cannot be transferred. If you choose a bundle costing more than the credit, you pay the difference. If your bundle costs less, the remainder stays with the agent's account rather than being paid out.

Sections 4 and 5 apply to gifted rentals exactly as they do to direct rentals: a payment method is still collected at claim time so replacement and cleaning fees can be settled.

9. Liability

BoxDrop AZ is not responsible for damage to the contents you place in the crates. The equipment is provided as-is for transporting household goods. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
